New V.P Appointment Supports the development of SCF RightSize™ Particle Manufacture Technology
Stockholm, Sweden- October 15, 2007 – Xspray Microparticles AB, a private company developing technologies for Manufacture of pharmaceutical particles using super critical fluid technology announces the appointment of Gérald Jesson, to the position of V.P Operations.

We have now proven the scale up capabilities of this technology which enables the rebirth of super critical fluid technology for the production of pharmaceutical particles’ said Dr. Per Andersson CEO of Xspray Microparticles. “I’d like to welcome Gérald and his 11 years of experience in developing high tech technologies for the biotechnology market this will be an important factor in Xspray’s strategic growth and success.”
Gérald Jesson joined Xspray Microparticles in September 2007. His accomplishments include founding two companies in Sweden, one of which, Capture Device AB was sold to Biomotif AB in 2007 He worked for Gyros AB for 7 years, and has rights to 15 patents. He has also worked at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and VIRBAC S.A. based in Nice, France. ‘I am really excited about joining XSpray’ said Mr.Jesson ‘The SCF RightSize Technology is impressively simple and robust; being able to produce high quality particles right through the pharmaceutical development process from discovery to manufacture, This technology is the result of over ten years research and development led by Mustafa Demirbüker, who is now the CSO of Xspray Microparticles.’
